A trader holding a 5x position for six hours is doing something fundamentally different from someone opening and closing an 80x trade in minutes. Both contribute to protocol activity. Both take on risk. But the nature of that contribution isn't the same — and LeverUp's Genesis Airdrop Season 1 is designed to reflect that.

Two Systems, Not One

Season 1 introduces two independent point tracks:

  • LVP (LeverUp Points) — rewards consistent, sustainable trading
  • LVHP (LeverUp High Performance Points) — a separate pool designed specifically for high-leverage traders

These aren't two tiers of the same system. They're parallel tracks with separate allocations and separate mechanics. You don't choose one over the other — depending on how you trade, you may accumulate points from both simultaneously.

How LVP Works

LVP rewards trading behavior that adds sustained activity to the protocol.

You earn LVP by:

  • Opening and closing positions
  • Holding positions longer — a Duration Multiplier increases your point weight the longer a position is held
  • Building a team through referrals (Team Boost)

The Duration Multiplier is the key differentiator. It rewards traders who hold positions rather than scalp in and out — incentivizing conviction-based trading over short-term noise.

How LVHP Works

High-leverage trading demands a different risk profile. An 80x position requires tighter execution, faster decision-making, and more precise risk management than a 5x hold. LVHP exists to recognize that distinctly.

Instead of folding high-leverage activity into the same LVP leaderboard — where it would compete against lower-leverage volume for the same points — LeverUp created a separate reward pool exclusively for it. High-leverage traders aren't fighting lower-leverage traders for the same slice of the airdrop.

Allocation: 40% LVP / 60% LVHP

Of the total Season 1 airdrop:

  • 40% → LVP
  • 60% → LVHP

The heavier weight on LVHP reflects what the protocol is built to support. Because open interest scales with protocol risk parameters rather than with the size of an externally supplied LP pool, LeverUp can structurally support high-leverage positions in ways LP-dependent platforms cannot. LVHP is the airdrop making that design philosophy explicit.

Team Boost and Referrals

LVP includes a referral layer that rewards network growth, not just individual trading output.

How it works:

  • Unlock your referral code once you reach $10,000 in trading volume
  • For every 4 points your referrals earn, you earn 1 point
  • Your team's collective 24-hour trading volume unlocks a Team Boost multiplier — every member of the team receives the bonus for that day

The system compounds. A team of active traders doesn't just help each member accumulate points faster — the Team Boost multiplier scales with collective daily performance, so the stronger the team trades, the more everyone earns.

What You're Trading Toward

LVP and LVHP points are designed to move you closer to $LV. The token is already live, already trading on secondary markets, and has been subject to active buyback and burn from protocol revenue since launch.

Every point earned in Season 1 is building toward an allocation in a token with real activity behind it — not a future promise.

Getting Started

Trading on LeverUp automatically earns you LVP. To accumulate LVHP, open positions at high leverage. Both systems run in parallel — there's no opt-in required.

Once you're above $10k in lifetime trading volume, generate your referral code to activate the Team Boost layer and start compounding your LVP earnings.
